Emmanuel Mwesiga, MB, ChB, PhD (Psychiatry), is a psychiatrist and lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry at Makerere University. Dr. Mwesiga is a current GloCal Fogarty fellow based at the Infectious Diseases Institute in Uganda. For the GloCal Fellowship, his project aims to understand the impact of alternative and traditional therapies in the time-to-diagnosis and care for patients with psychotic disorders.
